Lido Cinema has become one of the oldest cinema theaters in Bangkok, Thailand since its outstanding memorable opening in 1968. Anyhow, in today society only few number of Siam residents visit this place due the cinema itself does not promote much anymore as it is an old-fashion choice. In the innovative side, Lido Cinema contains more than 1,000 seats with “Dolby Digital” and “4K Screen” systems.

Take off at Siam BTS Station and use exit number 3 then walk along Rama I Road. Only about 300 meters from BTS Station, you will notice a drug store named “Watson”. The store is located next to the entrance of Lido Plaza or Lido Cinema.
Once you enter, you will see the environment of vintage looks and designs. Things are old by the time but very clean and fresh. The cinema is on the second floor, which you may take the stair near by the entrance. Digital boards display now-showing movies mixed with popular re-run movies. Snack bar and ticket counters are serving in the old-fashion style by staffs that are quite friendly. When talking about the price of each ticket, Lido offers very much lower cost for one movie. The price is around 100 Baht comparing with other brands offer around 200 Baht.

The Machine was started by the owner named Rut in 1994 offers 360 degrees jean services for example, hemming, narrowing legs or waist, tailoring and customizing targets to jean lovers both male and female. The quality and service of this jean shop are matched with Japanese and US’s standards.
Next to the jean shop, there is a famous stationary and cloths shop called “7 2nd floor”. The owner is a Thai who went to study in Japan. While, he was studying there he spent time drawing a cartoon called “MaMuang” displays as a young active lady. The drawing did become popular, many newspaper and magazines come to interview the drawer. Nowadays you can see “MaMaung” on male and females’ cloths as well as stationaries. Many Japanese and Thai teenagers enjoy spending at this shop.

A toy shop which you might see your favorite cartoons from world wide cartoon like Disney to Japanese’s local anime like Ganze.
